About:
Raised mostly in a holler on the border of West Virginia and Virginia. Formed in summer of 2013 while working on a cattle ranch in East Texas. This family band is a second generation alt-country four piece that brings garage-rock speed and power, southern rock harmonies and straight up kickassery to their music. They played their first real gig together in October 2013 during ACL at the HIckoids' Corn Lover's Fiesta in Austin, and in the spring of 2014 during SXSW at Jeff Smith's Saustex Records showcase.
PLRLS
PLRLS
PLRLS have made peculiar, colorful and angular music together since 2011. This music has been described as New Wave and/or Post Punk with a certain Operatic/Surfy twang. HAVE YOU SEEN MY FANCY PONY? Have you ever seen a fancy pony? Come celebrate the latest release from the band PLRLS. Stick around afterwards for the PLRLS real estate seminar! Identify the right deals to generate long-term cash flow in any economy. Learn ghoulish scare techniques to convince families to leave their homes and then you buy the house for a fraction of the original selling price. Find some rats, put them in a bag, then release them in the home you wanna buy. These techniques have always been successful and rich people swear by them. Would rich people lie? Maybe. Here's an idea. Put someone else's house on the market and sell it. Booya!! You're on easy street. It's all good. See you after the show for the PLRLS real estate seminar of a lifetime!!
The Flying Faders
The Flying Faders
The Flying Faders are a surf rock band that formed in early 2011 in Northern Maryland. Being landlocked never dissuaded them from soaking their music in heavy reverb to search for that surf sound. Most of the members have been (or are currently in) various other projects for 15+ years bringing a unique and special homegrown chemistry to the genre. With their vinyl release of "No Sweat" (Wallride Records 2014) and 40+ covers under their belt they are ready to play for you.
